I was driving back from VA, completely exhausted. I’ll never drive all the way from Mass. to Virginia again. That was a long ride (flying is the way to go–TSA groping and all)! Anyway, as I was driving by New York City I noticed its iconic skyline. I didn’t have to convince myself too hard to spend the night. While stuck in mind-numbing Lincoln Tunnel traffic, I booked a room using my iPhone. Parked the car and the room was waiting for me when I got there. Don’t you love technology when it works?

I think you should do a road trip to San Diego. Think of all the wonderful photo ops along the way!
